The most northern resort of the Romanian riviera, Mamaia is also the largest resort in the country. Including over 60 hotels, of which three have 4 stars, it also has the best nautical sports facilities, while its 8 km-long and 100 to 200 m-wide beach is the largest beach on the seaside. The investments from the past year have turned Mamaia into the most competitive holiday destination for Romanian tourists, while this year larger groups of Western tourists are expected.
